Clayton, Georgia is located in Rabun County, the most northeastern county in the state. Besides being the county seat, Clayton is the main gateway for the area’s attractions and natural wonders including Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock State Park, Moccasin Creek State Park, Chattooga River, Lake Burton, and Lake Rabun.
